29 February 2020 Launch of the CWC T20
In 1980, the M.O.D. released a tender specification for the first quartz watch issued to all branches of the British forces. While the 70s tonneau shape case was specified, the early Swiss quartz movements couldn't fit this case and so the G10 "Fat Boy" was born.
Now, modern Swiss movements and manufacturing bring you the "Lost Boy", the watch that should have been made but never was... until now!
The Defence Standard for the "Watch, Wrist, Electronic, General Service" was dated the 29th of February 1980, a leap year day. Forty years to the day, it is making its debut. The T20 designation refers to the Tonneau case released 2020.

CWC SONAR
Item code: 73668
Introducing the latest addition to our waterproof GS range. The Sonar is a waterproof 10atm Swiss-made field watch with sapphire glass and ETA Swiss movement.
CWC has produced many thousands of stopwatches for all types of applications, from torpedo timing aboard submarines (hence the name Sonar) to timing sequences in the news cutting rooms of the BBC and ITV.
The screw-down anodised red crown is an homage to the CWC stopwatch (used in the movie Mission: Impossible - Fallout. The dial is a miniaturised version of the stopwatch face, which creates a watch that is distinctive in looks and function. The hands are SuperLuminova, while the dial has no luminous markings in keeping with the look of the stopwatch dial. The dial has been adapted slightly from seconds to hours for use in this watch. The satin matte case with 18mm fixed bars adds to the no nonsense clean and functional look. Click the pictures below to view the Sonar full details
Canvas nato straps with Broad Arrow stamp.
Our Canvas Vintage style Nato straps are really a big hit. see here.
The quality is great, they are hard wearing and the more they wear the better they become to give that vintage style to any military watch, they are a little thicker than the nylon natos and can be a tight fit to slide through the gap of the G10 and GS range of watches but they do go on with a little persuasion, sliding the end sideways through the gap helps.
Sub Hunter watch see here
You can select with or without the military arrow stamp. The black canvas will have a white arrow which will look aged.
