The watch that replaced the Milsub
Now available HERE.
This is the second and final batch of 1980 Divers Reissue watches.
The 1980 Royal Navy Divers watch was issued for one year before the dial and hands were re-designed for the 1981, and subsequently the 1983 onwards quartz RN diver.
Extremely rare and sought after by collectors, the 1980 and '81 are far rarer than the Milsub they replaced.
The Reissue is as close to the original as possible, save for the Tritium luminescence which is now banned. The T on the dial is for historical correctness but the lume is actually Luminova.
Now you can wear your CWC on a metal band and quick change any time
Forstner bands have a very interesting history when it comes to making straps for watches.
The Klip bracelet comes in 3 sizes to fit:
- 18mm W10 / Mellor G10 / GS range of watches
- 19mm RAF / RN Chronographs
- 20mm RN / SBS / Auto / Quartz / Heritage Divers watches
Designed to clip over fixed bars for a quick and easy way of installing and uninstalling the strap on your watch.
Current issue Strap, Wrist Watch, Nylon (commonly known as Nato Strap)
The strap issued to British forces for many many years is the...
"STRAP, WRIST WATCH, NYLON" (commonly known as the NATO Strap).

Back in the day, Phoenix straps were the issued strap. In more recent years, the CWC straps have been issued in their thousands for use on G10 and other service watches in 18mm. The 20mm NATO Grey strap is issued on the black CWC SBS divers' watches currently worn by Royal Marines and Royal Navy divers.
CWC and Phoenix straps go back a long way together, right back to the early days of CWC in the 1970s, which is why we still sell Phoenix straps today. See here.
The main differences between the Phoenix and CWC straps are the durability of the holes, which tend to fray on the Phoenix and the strap can look quite worn in a short space of time, whereas the general longevity of the CWC is much greater. There are some customers who still prefer the Phoenix straps as they are a little thinner and have a more vintage look and feel, while the CWC are slightly thicker and heavier ribbed, which stays looking fresher, newer and are much more durable.
G22
See the G22 here.
The latest addition to the G10 range of CWC watches is the Swiss-made G22, which is an automatic version of the military issued G10. The dial has fully luminous numerals and is very bright in dark conditions. The Swiss automatic Sellita SW200-1 is a solid workhorse movement that beats at 28,800 BPH for a smooth even second hand sweep.
Available as a date or non-date dial option, with acrylic glass in keeping with the G10 military spec and water-resistance to 50m (not recommended for swimming or showering).
