In 1980, the first quartz watch issued to British Forces was made by CWC. The old logo was used for a couple of years and was changed to the oval logo in 1982. The early G10s were nicknamed Fatboy as the case was deeper than the current models due to earlier deeper movements.

The last CWC G10 issued was around 2008 and is the same watch today, just as rugged, reliable, accurate and dependable as it has always been. (Super-Luminova is now used instead of Tritium)
Supplied on a Cabot military grey 18mm with gloss silver buckles as standard.

CWC G10- A Brilliant everyday watch

As a watch enthusiast with a few luxury automatic field watches, I can wholeheartedly say that I don’t miss them when I’m the G10. It’s amazingly lightweight and thin, and living in London, I don’t have to worry about someone trying to mug me for it. Since buying it I’ve put it onto a third party 20mm tubular nato as I think it looks a bit chunkier.

Solid watch

Very pleased with the G10, and while it’s early days, hoping it can be the first one have had that dan span decades of use. It’s certainly quite timeless in design.

Perfect gift

After looking at various watches from 2nd hand to new, the G10 was the outstanding choice. Perfect information both online and over the phone and arrived within 2 days, ( because he chose the blue second hand )
Very well packed - and he loves it!

Only if you want it new, but an OK watch

I picked this watch up back in 2018 and I loved it and I still like it now, though I have noticed the price for this watch has really exploded since when I picked it up.

Now this is a nice watch, well made and I'm sure the best thing you can get new next to buying a second - hand issued model and I feel that is my main point.
If you have to have it new and will not accept any other this is your only option.
Though at £11 off £300 I would advise you consider your options.
But if you trully want it, go for it
(I am curious if anything has changed over the last 6 years)

Though personally, I am very glad I got this when I did.

G10 watch.

I wanted a robust watch which kept time accurately and which did not make phone calls or count my steps. The G10 fits the bill admirably and I am happy with the purchase.
