Genuine new old stock vintage RM Falkland issue buckle on new MoD webbing strap
These were part of Royal Marines kit in green, issued with their bergen rucksack as a utility strap for many different uses.
Being 19/20mm with a quick adjust very secure buckle, they make the perfect military watch strap. They are micro adjustable and the buckle will not slip, They are so tough and durable they are unlikely to wear out and the larger Aerolex buckles were used on heavy lifting equipment harnesses.
(WATCH NOT INCLUDED)
How to fit and use this strap
20mm will fit General Service and divers' watches. Quick pull adjustment ensures exact fit and is easy to get on and off.
The buckle stays threaded for ease of use, just slide it on and off. Press the watch against thigh or body to give resistance and pull the strap to tighten. Keepers fitted to retain excess strap.
Please note, if you would like the Broad Arrow stamp on your strap, please select the add-on option above. Default is without stamp. We DO NOT STAMP ON BLACK OR CAMMO STRAPS currently. For stamping on multiple straps, please change the stamp quantity in your basket and leave a message indicating which strap you want stamped. For any other special instructions, please leave a message with your order.
I love this strap, once you figure out how to wear it in the best possible way there is no going back to other straps. Extremely comfortable infinitely adjustable and very good looking in my opinion. I was playing around with the strap trying different ways to wear it and this is what I finally came to. Note how one of the keepers goes over the buckle!

An awesome strap, very comfortable and simple to use. Super fast delivery too!
Really comfortable and durable fabric fits perfectly on my G10
Royal Marines Falklands Era Strap
I purchased this strap to try out on my CWC RN Reissue Silver. Although it takes some getting used to, this strap allows the watch to maintain a lower profile due to its single pass design. Very comfortable and zero slippage! The only year option available for this strap was 1982, but, hey, isn’t 1982 the year that the Falklands War occurred? How apropos is that, and what a great way to honor those 255 souls who made the ultimate sacrifice for those islands and their fellow citizens.
This strap also forced me to get a CWC Black Auto Mk2 so I could match the blackened hardware on this strap with the PVD case! A perfect pairing!
I wouldn’t mind swapping out one of the retention loops with a flag watch strap loop, but I’d prefer a subdued (black and gray) U.S. flag rather than the full-color version, so CWC, if you folks are reading this, please make this happen!
