CWC British Military G10
Item code: 80034
BUILT FOR SERVICE SINCE 1980
Originally developed to meet a Ministry of Defence requirement for the British Armed Forces.
Developed in 1980 as the General Service Wrist Watch for the British Armed Forces, the CWC G10 was engineered to do one job: provide dependable, accurate, legible timekeeping wherever military service required it.
For more than four decades, the G10 has accompanied generations of British servicemen and women through training, deployment and operational service, earning its place as one of Britain's most enduring military wristwatches.
While materials, manufacturing and technology have evolved, its purpose has not.
The current G10 remains faithful to the original military specification, combining proven design with modern Swiss manufacturing, and contemporary luminous materials.
This is not an homage.
It is the latest evolution of a genuine military-issued watch.

This G10 watch is a military classic. Thanks!
I recently bought the CWC British Military G10 and I’m extremely pleased with it. What I like most is its understated, purposeful design. It doesn’t try too hard or draw unnecessary attention, yet it has real character and a strong sense of military heritage.
The size is spot on for me. It sits comfortably on the wrist, feels well proportioned, and is a refreshing change from some of the oversized watches around today. The dial is clear, extremely easy to read and has exactly the functional appearance you would expect from a genuine military-style field watch.
I’ve fitted mine with a Royal Engineers watch strap, which gives it a personal connection for me and, in my opinion, suits the watch perfectly. The combination looks fantastic and really reinforces the watch’s military heritage without making it feel like a novelty piece.
There is something very appealing about owning a watch that is simple, practical and built around function rather than fashion. It feels authentic and has the kind of timeless design that I can see myself wearing for many years.
CWC have done an excellent job of preserving the character of the original British military watches while producing something that is still completely wearable today. For anyone interested in British military history, field watches, or simply a well-made, understated everyday watch, I would highly recommend the CWC G10.
A great British watch with genuine character, history and purpose.
Well, it’s nice to use the G10 in such a suiting environment. It kept perfect time to the second( after 100s of rounds jolting and jostling the watch. (side note, when I ordered the G10, it was already set to Hawaii Standard Time when it arrived! So cool!).
Very pleased with my G10 from CWC. Well finished, clear to read and keeps excellent time. Much better sized and vintage accurate than its US & Chinese counterparts. Box and paperwork are substantial as well.
