With this addition, I now own three CWC watches, all featuring white dials. They offer better visibility and legibility than the black-dial versions, making them indispensable for daily use. Furthermore, the reliability of the fixed strap bars is truly rock-solid. Many other military-style watches rely on spring bars—or have fixed bars on only one side—which leaves me questioning their durability; in contrast, the reliability and practicality of CWC watches are simply in a league of their own. Because they use standard, widely available movements, maintenance is never a concern—even here in Japan, where there is no official distributor. In all sincerity, I am truly glad to have discovered CWC.
I've been wearing this almost every day for more than two years now.
It is robust, very accurate. I have to travel lots so it's only ever had a month or so without me changing the time. However during that period it remained very accurate.
I bought the plastic protection case for it which works great. Without the case it's a very slim profile, handsome watch. With or without the case I'd say this watch is very hardy. Very good value for money, sturdy and not super flashy, but still looks smart on the right strap. This is the perfect watch me.
Good service. Very nice watch. Happy with it. Got several compliments for it. Military grey wrist band could haven been a little darker. More anthracite like.

Bought this watch as a gift for the lady for everyday work as helo aircrew. Needed a watch with a good quartz movement, sapphire crystal, screw down case back and crown, with decent water resistance and a sharp, legible dial, and also a shorter lug-to-lug for her. Love the very impressive specs of this watch compared to similar field watches. Entire watch looks and feels great as expected from Cabot.
Caseback does extend off the case a bit more than expected so it sits off wrist a little higher than other field watches, especially with the stock double pass strap. Fixed lugs are too tight to fit a WOE Glomar or similar single pass velcro strap through. A traditional single pass/single layer strap would work fine. The stock strap is very high quality with a signed CWC buckle. However, the strap could use additional "half" size holes or holes spaced slightly closer together. Had to burn a half size hole to get a proper fit. Lume is not the brightest next to some others on the shelf but is decent. Seems non existent next to a GSAR's tritium.
Overall a great watch and would buy it again.
With taxes and duties came out to just over $500 USD landed in California, USA.
Just a fantastic iconic watch
