CWC G40 Quartz Watch

I recently purchased the CWC G40, and I couldn't be happier with my experience.

The watch exceeded my expectations. The build quality and finishing are excellent, and the legibility is simply outstanding in all lighting conditions. It also fits my wrist perfectly, making it incredibly comfortable to wear.

I was equally impressed by the customer service. Communication was excellent throughout the process, and the shipping was remarkably fast. The watch arrived at my home in Porto Alegre, Brazil, just five days after being shipped from London, which was truly impressive.

This has been a fantastic first experience with CWC, and it certainly won't be my last. I already have my eye on one of the brand's mechanical chronographs for my next purchase.

I really like the G40. It's a military-style watch that doesn't shout too loudly about it - the dial isn't really cluttered like a lot of these watches are. You could even call it subtle. If I had a criticism it would be that the luminosity isn't that great, but if you're not off on a night exercise, it won't matter too much.
I recommend the coyote strap with it as the brown picks out the yellow of the hands really nicely.

Ordered both a G40 and a GS Sapphire so as to compare on my average sized wrist. Not having any military background the G40 felt a better size but I suspect a G10 sized watch feels more authentic and has that nostalgia value for anyone who has connections with the services.
All round a great looking, solid watch for those who want a bit of British history but don't necessarily want others to notice. I'm a fan of NATO straps generally and it comes on a good one. If you're hesitating about the fixed bars - DON'T! There are plenty of options out there if you want something else - just Google it.

A fantastic everyday 3 hand watch. Perfect size, enough water resistance for most needs and well made. Only gripe is that the reflections from the crystal can obscure the numbers at an angle.
