The G40 - general service watch. With a 40mm case, domed sapphire crystal, screw-down crown and a 20 atmospheres waterproof rating, the G40 is an impressive all-round General Service watch that is also suitable for swimming, watersports and shallow diving.
Swiss-made precision and quality in a rugged durable military stainless steel case with screw down crown and screw case back. Broad arrow on the dial and luminova luminous markings on the dial and hands. Dimensions give more wrist presence, extremely legible dial at a glance.

A fantastic everyday 3 hand watch. Perfect size, enough water resistance for most needs and well made. Only gripe is that the reflections from the crystal can obscure the numbers at an angle.

Such an underrated watch. It takes what's great from the G10 and improves upon it, greater water resistance, sapphire crystal and a better sizing for larger wrists. Cannot recommend enough!

Very pleased with my purchase of the black dial G40. London to Miami in 3 days shipping. Amazing. The G40 is a simple and well designed version of the G10 with much better water resistance in a 40mm case. Received the watch set to my current time down to the second. What a nice touch. Put it on and go. Highly recommend this model. No doubt it will outlive me. CWC treated me well. Service that will keep me coming back. I am very happy with my very first CWC.
