Originally developed for the United Kingdom's Special Boat Service.
Developed in 1987 to meet a Ministry of Defence requirement for the United Kingdom's Special Boat Service, the CWC SBS Diver was engineered as a professional military instrument, built to perform in the harshest operational environments where reliability could never be compromised.
Some watches are inspired by military history.
This one wrote it.
For almost four decades, it has remained in continuous service with the United Kingdom's Special Boat Service. While materials and manufacturing have evolved, its purpose has not.
The current SBS remains faithful to the original military specification, combining proven design with modern Swiss manufacturing, sapphire crystal and contemporary luminous materials.
This is not a reissue.
It is the latest evolution of a watch that remains true to its original military purpose.

Thank you so much to the team at CWC - this was my first purchase but won’t be the last. The product itself was delivered surprisingly quickly to Australia, and was thoughtfully set to the correct time and date prior to delivery. The SBS divers watch is comfortable, tough and highly legible under low light conditions.
