Built for specifically for the elite units of the British Forces, the Royal Marines and Special Boat Service, currently also issued to Royal Navy and other specialist roles.
Water resistant to 300 metres / 1000ft and made for the toughest conditions. Real history and true provenance associated with this watch which has been issued now for 30+ years. The original MOD specification dates back to 1987, signed by the Officer Commanding Royal Marines for CWC to produce this watch, and it has been issued since then.

I wish I could say how much I love the watch but I still have not received it
Been wanting this watch for fair while being fairly new to watch collecting its military background and robust reputation appealed as I watch I could wear as well. I say finally got my hands on it as every time I had enuf spare to purchase this watch it was sold out which shows I was not alone wanting it. I signed up for email when in stock and ordered as soon as got message saying it was available receiving it next day well impressed. Seems v well put together and I think in terms of looks will improve with age I’ve ordered a couple of different colour nato straps as I like the originality of the black but a grey and a brown mean it can be worn and look good with different clothing. I don’t dive or in sbs but reassuring to know if they wear them with what they get up to good chance I won’t break it. In all it’s a nice and v worthy addition to my small collection that I’m sure will see other cwc watches added to it and the lum is great to.
I pretty much own every top-tier divers watch from Blancpain, Rolex, to Tudor and my CWC SBS diver is probably my favorite one. The lume is amazing the finish on the watch is top notch. It’s got a solid movement. It’s all you really need. It’s also a true milspec watch and the reissues are smart to do !! Buy It you won’t regret it..
