Another fantastic CWC diver!

I consider myself an enthusiast, and have about a dozen different watches in my collection, ranging from a $90 G-shock to a $17k Rolex. Lately I've been focused on finding simple pieces with history and heritage, and discovering the actual watch issued to the Special Boat Services (which in my mind is a British version of our Navy SEALs, likely sporting cigars and heavy mustaches) was a real treat. Oddly enough, I stumbled across CWC after watching The Meg 2 (Jason Statham wears one in the movie, and there are a couple close-ups of the watch), and I had a good time researching the history of the company and looking over the catalogue before my first purchase. Finding a quartz watch with build quality this high is not easy, and having a no-date option is just icing on the cake. Sure, at approx $830 USD including shipping it may not be a superb value, but I figure there's an understandable premium because it's an authentic 'same as military-issued' piece. Pricing aside, it's hard to find much to dislike about the watch itself; the lume is outstanding, the case coating looks great, sizing is spot-on, the crown screws down buttery smooth, and the design is simple, classic, and perfect. I even received my watch set to-the-second for my home time zone halfway across the world, which tells me that somebody at CWC cares about their customers enough to look out for the little things. Like I mentioned before, finding a high-quality quartz watch that actually feels like a Swiss-made piece in the hand is not that easy nowadays; some quartz alternatives to consider depending on budget might be: the Seiko SNJ025 "Arnie" reissue, Scurfa D1-500, Marathon Navigator, or an Omega Seamaster 2264.50.
