In the 1960s, the Omega Seamaster was the choice of the Royal Navy; in the '70s, it was the Rolex Milsub that was de rigueur. Then, in 1980, CWC was chosen as the supplier of the Royal Navy Divers Automatic watch, which carried on in quartz form until recent times.
