CWC recently featured in the march edition of Watchtime magazine, an article reviewing the recent resurgence of the fieldwatch.
CWC have been making field service watches since 1972 and hundreds of thousands have been issued to HM forces over a 47 year period.
The picture here is of a 40+ year old CWC mechanical W10 worn by a former Royal Marine and friend who is currently working with Cambodian Border Police. The watch is used daily in arduous conditions and performs as it should, although he says the Tritium lume doesn't work too well now (Tritium has a life of approx. 10 years) Super Luminova now used in our watches is super bright and has a much longer life.
