Produced by CWC since the late 1990s, the RN300 Automatic offers the proven design of the Royal Navy Diver combined with the character and craftsmanship of a top grade Swiss mechanical movement.
Some watches redefine a design.
This one simply changed the way it beats.
Externally, the RN300 remains faithful to the Royal Navy Quartz Diver. It shares the same 300-metre stainless steel case, unidirectional bezel, screw-down crown, fixed strap bars and unmistakable military profile. The only visible difference is the word Automatic on the dial.
Early RN300 models featured tritium (T) dial markings. As luminous technology evolved, Super-LumiNova replaced tritium, while production later transitioned to the Swiss-made Sellita SW200-1 Top Grade movement following the discontinuation of the ETA 2824.
Although the movement has evolved over the years, the philosophy has remained the same: to offer the authentic Royal Navy Diver with the enduring appeal of a self-winding mechanical watch.
The same design.
A different heartbeat.
Absolute beast. Perfect dimensions. Strap monster. Keeps great time.
Wish I came here earlier, had my eyes on the diver for years. Finally made the purchase. 100% satisfied. Proper old school tool watch, with heritage still being made today, it’s a beautiful thing. Build quality top notch, the bezel feels like my Tudor bb58. It’s more accurate then that watch also @ 0.6secs a day over two weeks of continuous wear, rock steady. If you’re thinking of pulling the trigger, I’d recommend the watch without a doubt and also the service you’ll receive from CWC. Ordered late afternoon, received next day. I’d happily spend my money with this company again.
One happy watch nerd, thanks CWC
This watch is everything my submariner is not. I have served in combat and I wouldn’t hesitate to take this with me should I ever have to go again. In the last three weeks, it has run maybe +2 to +5 seconds per day. Have taken it hiking & trail running in the mountains along with a few weights workouts and it’s just great. Very lightweight, fits perfectly on my 6.75” wrist. Lume is as good or better than my new model submariner, even by morning.
I can wear this watch downtown without attracting negative attention in a flashy way, but I have also worn it with a casual blazer in a room of finance people and this watch was great with its unique style and heritage; definitely held its own.
The Silvermans sales team was outstanding, even despite the tariff complications at the moment in terms of shipping to the US. Customer service was top notch.
The only downside to this watch is that you (probably) can’t wear it in a formal situation but that’s really it. Can’t wait to take it all over the world with me.
The most comfortable case I have ever worn, and have been lucky enough to own many of the top names in my lifetime. My first fixed lug watch. It is special. I received it on 4/1/25 and checking right now (6/5/25) it is 18 sec fast. (It arrived preset to my local timezone and within a second of on and on.). So I have never even loosened the crown after over two months. Yes, I also enjoy winding a watch at night, and wish this had the HAQ thermoline movement, but it is outstanding at what it is. Wish I had this during my 27 years active duty as a naval aviator. It would have traveled a long, long way with me.
