G10, but make it SBS

A great daily driver watch - you get the classic G10 form factor but with uprated diver-style specs, all at a great price. This watch will definitely outlive me!

TERRIFIC QUALITY AND WORKMANSHIP

CWC GS SAPPHIRE WATCH, STAINLESS STEEL w/o date
Superb customer service.
Nothing to add regarding the watch—it’s all on the site.
No surprises.
Shipping (DHL) was dear: €50, but well worth the price.
Dispatched and received promptly—three days from London to Amsterdam.
Before the watch had left GB, I received a VAT invoice from DHL
which was super efficient.
I didn’t have to concern myself with any shenanigans from Post NL trying to collect duties once the item was already in-country.
A really fine experience purchasing from Silverman’s.

Favorite Quartz Watch

Bought the GS SAPPHIRE STAINLESS STEEL no date along with a few accessories Aug 2022 during a particularly nasty case of Covid 19. It was then and remains to this day my one and only quartz watch and most certainly one of my favorites. I am not one to hold on to watches if i don't wear them, i buy and sell them regularly and this one has stood the test of time. The only other watch i own that competes with the GS Sapphire is my Hamilton Khaki Field Bronze mechanical, yet another fantastic field watch so i consider the GS Sapphire in excellent company.
Along with the GS Sapphire I also picked up the ROYAL MARINES FALKLANDS ERA STRAP with the Broad Arrow stamp and i must say it is the perfect pairing with this watch. Strap is very understated, rugged, and easy to clean, i suspect i'll use it for many years on this watch. The Falkland issue buckle that comes with this strap is just so functional, secure and unique, undoubtably one of the best NATO straps money can buy at any price and highly unlikely you'll find your neighbor wearing this combo.
Finally i also picked up the CWC CASE GUARD COVER for the GS Sapphire, great addition to this watch and has kept it totally protected (literally as perfect as the day i bought it) all while giving the watch a totally unique look and feel. Super easy to put on and take off as needed or when i feel like changing up the look. At about 6 months into owning and regular wear of the case guard on the GS Sapphire, a tiny piece broke off the guard near one of the lugs, CWC was kind enough to replace it for me free of charge. Its not often you come across a company that cares this much about customer satisfaction. I cannot say enough about the watch or the company, highly recommend them both!
I'm certain that there will always be a CWC watch on my wrist.

Cheers,
JC

Addictive watch

Had this for over a year. NATO strap ia the most comfortable strap I have ever had. The watch keeps good time, completely waterproof. Accuracy is a step down from Longines, which loses a second or two a month but for the price you get a super watch that is as luminous as any Oris watch and can easily be mistaken for a Big Crown at first glance.
