The GS Sapphire uses a CR2016 long-life lithium battery. These should last around 8 to 10 years.

Quality is top notch! Easy to read work watch 👌🏻
Lovely watch, fits my tiny 15.3cm wrist. Very sturdy and legible.
The watch came set to my timezone and kept the time within its specs. If there is one thing that would make it better for me, it would be raised indexes on the dial.
The NATO strap is nice and sturdy, although I had to puncture an additional hole for it to fit perfectly.
Great looking bombproof watch but it was one second off for my time zone.
Come on CWC, you can do better.

There are many things I do like about this watch, but I’m a little disappointed. The lamination doesn’t last an entire winter night, and the NATO strap feels a little light and cheap, although I’m sure it’s strong enough to hold. It’s not an expensive watch, and that’s how it looks and feels.
