While the original service history of each reclaimed case is unknown, every clock begins with a genuine maritime clock case that has been carefully restored for a new life.

RESTORED TO SERVE AGAIN
Each clock is refurbished in England to an exceptionally high standard. The original brass-plated body is restored and paired with a chrome-plated bezel, while the brand new dial, hands and modern sweep-second quartz movement ensure accurate and reliable timekeeping for years to come.
As every case is an original reclaimed maritime clock, minor signs of its previous working life may remain. Small marks, light blemishes or the occasional faint scratch on the glass are part of each clock's individual history, contributing to the character that makes every example unique.

Substantial item, looks great and has been refinished to a very high standard. It's not absolutely perfect and this adds to the charm and the realisation that these are functional items used in real conditions, with all the history that entails. It's just a shame that history isn't traceable! If you are looking at one of these, don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed.

I was so pleased when CWC announced that they had a batch of old Ship's Bridge Clocks to refurbish and update, I called Mal and he explained the background and what the updates and refurbishment entailed and confirmed it was a movement with a sweep-second-hand and he put one on reservation for me. Within a week the clock arrived, I must say the quality what with the re-plating of the chrome and brass is top-notch. It's mounted splendidly in my workshop on the 'bulkhead' (if you know, you know!) Thanks Mal.
