We are excited to release the latest GS SAPPHIRE watches to coincide with Jurassic World Rebirth, which launched in cinemas across the UK from 02/07/2025. The watch is worn in the movie by Scarlett Johansson. We make the GS Sapphire to be extremely durable with a 200m waterproof rating, a Sapphire glass and tough PVD coating, ideal for shooting Jurassic World in the jungles of Thailand, where the movie was mostly filmed.
The GS Sapphire uses a CR2016 long-life lithium battery. These should last around 8 to 10 years.

Very nice watch with nearly all the features needed: 200m water resistance, screw down crown, saphire with AR coating and a date if prefered. The only thing I don not understand is why CWC went with a cheaper movement. This watch could be one of the ultimate tool watches on the market with a better movement. And I am sure every enthusiast would pay the difference in price. What I would expect is an ETA swiss made movement (not swiss parts!) with Preci Drive, Heavy Drive and EOL indication. The Ronda stays within the specs of +/- 10s a month but an ETA HAQ movement gains or loses 10s a year. Please do it CWC.
Clear face. Quality seems good. Wanted a watch for hiking and perfect for this

I love this watch, I own the ‘tradional’ one also but the black on black thing is very cool and versatile, here pared with a green strap.
I wish I could say the same about customer service and the pvd coating quality. I ordered two straps and the case guard cover a day or so after my watch. These unfortunately still didn’t arrive. After two weeks of wear the pvd coating on my watch started showing wear (silver specks poking through). This could’ve been avoided if the case cover had been delivered. Customer service did nothing after 4 emails. They refuse to consider a package lost before a month has passed. While tracking for my package hasn’t moved ever since July 18th. Belgium isn’t that far from the UK is it??
In short I will never order another strap or accessory from CWC again. I am thinking about an SBS for some time now but I’m not even sure if I wanna order that from a company with such a lack of customer support. Don’t know what’s going to happen if my watch ever needs servicing or such.
