With a 40mm case, domed sapphire crystal, screw-down crown and a 20 atmospheres waterproof rating, the G40 Subhunter is an impressive all-round General Service watch that is also suitable for swimming, watersports and shallow diving.
Swiss-made precision and quality in a rugged durable military stainless steel case with screw down crown and screw case back. Broad arrow on the dial and luminova luminous markings on the dial and hands. Dimensions give more wrist presence, extremely legible dial at a glance.

This is my first CWC watch and I couldn’t be happier, even after the honeymoon phase has passed. I’ve had my Subhunter for a month now and I’m really pleased with it. It’s got a lovely vintage look to it and the aged lume is matched perfectly with a khaki ribbed NATO.
Initial thoughts that 40mm without a bezel would look like a dinner plate on the wrist were completely unfounded and make the legibility superb.
Along with the WR and 7 year battery it really does tick a lot of boxes.
