In 1980, the first quartz watch issued to British Forces was made by CWC. The old logo was used for a couple of years and was changed to the oval logo in 1982. The early G10s were nicknamed Fatboy as the case was deeper than the current models due to earlier deeper movements.

The last CWC G10 issued was around 2008 and is the same watch today, just as rugged, reliable, accurate and dependable as it has always been. (Super-Luminova is now used instead of Tritium)
Supplied on a Cabot military grey 18mm with gloss silver buckles as standard.
(Please note, the picture of the case back is for reference only; serial number and dates may vary)

Exceptional attention to detail!

Arrived in Canada pre set to my local time- what a pleasant surprise! Really appreciated this detail.

Watch is fantastic as well. I was looking for heritage quartz watch that can be wearable daily (utility > extra frills). Prefer the G10 more refined design over the Hamilton field, find more versatile can wear casual but also slightly dressed up. Very satisfied with purchase

Great Watch!

Finally bought the g10. Great Watch, looks stunning. Had to get used to The small size at first but that has grown on me rather quickly. Verry pleased. Only downside was the extra tax for sending it to the Netherlands…. Worth it nonetheless.

Piece of history

Historical timepiece with a good build quality. What I like the most are the high-contrast white hands and the Precidrive ETA movement. A pleasure to watch it ticking.

Overpriced and cheaply made

The good: very legible, decent lume, heritage.

The bad: so overpriced, so cheaply made. Sharp edges everywhere on the case, and do mean everywhere, only the caseback feels smooth to the touch. The corners of the lugs are as sharp as a needle. Stiff, rough nato strap, the kind you can get for less than a pound on Chinese sites.
